| Web Design and Development Process |
Designing and developing of a website needs careful planning so that it meets up with the requirements and expectations. Design and development requires a structured process.
It is broadly categorized into four basic steps:
1. Planning
2. Gather & Prepare Content
3. Designing the Layout (Look & Feel)
4. Creating the Website
5. Demo & Launch of the Website |
| 1. Planning |
 |
Our First step is planning and a one to one interaction with the client to help them and guide them in the decision making and setting up of objectives concerning the site design, features, goals and estimates of a website.
Client input plays a very important part at this step without which we do not get to know about the site and how to work on it. It provides us with a detailed description of the site.
We further, make suggestions and present ideas about the site. Once client is satisfied with the suggestions and ideas we further move towards the establishment of goals and prepare a document stating the goals and objectives along with a site architecture along with the given time frame for the project and project estimates.
Site Map or site architecture plays a very vital role in understanding the new layout and goals and objectives of the client.

| 2. Gather and Prepare Content |
 |
The second phase of website designing and development is gathering content & preparing content.
Once the website concept has been cleared, we wait for a client approval and a written proposal with some specified terms and conditions under a given time frame. It is not only a verbal agreement but a written agreement to be signed.
Creating a logical development outline we proceed to the next step of work on the website. The step with a vital role in website building process. We request the client to provide us with some relevant raw material like company logo, pictures and some written copy like company profile which makes us understand more about the company.
Focusing on the visibility, usability and credibility of the site we organize the material and write a rough draft of the copy to be placed on the website which is then sent to the client for approval.
Until the copy is not approved Cressanda rewrites it and waits for the final approval. After the Final approval of the copy; final content is prepared and ready to be placed in the website.

| 3. Designing the Layout (Look and Feel) |
 |
The third phase of website development includes creating an outline of the website. Its layout and its design look & feel.
To meet up with the organization’s expectations & requirements we request the client for design and layout inputs. The client provides us with relevant website layout inputs.
Looking at the overall vision of the site we begin with our next step of website designing that’s drafting design layouts as per the client requirements and inputs.
We develop a prototype page design. Prototype also includes the navigation structure which is comprehensive and is easy to understand throughout the site design.
Once, the prototype is approved by the client, we begin with the building of the entire site.

The site is then submitted for a User acceptance test or a demo launch. At this point the complete site is reviewed and tested by the client; make final changes on the feedback provided.
And then the client gives a final approval for the launch of the site. After the final testing and uploading the site is then opened to the public.
Cressanda offers an exceptional support services, keeping the client website ahead of the pack. When site is complete and open to public; we submit the site (SEO) on major search engines like Google, yahoo, MSN, Rediff, Altavista and many directories etc. To make the website rank well in various search engines and for the visitor to locate the website easily.
