DVLA/HPI Case Study
Cressanda’s DVLA Process started with PowerPoint training with the website addressees sent by the Client. Based on the training, certain requests were sent on the first and second day. Thereafter, when the responses were received after 24 hrs, the CBT team worked on those by making a final report checking ownership of the vehicles.
The team also checked if the details match with the DVLA Check or not. A special website HPI was checked as well to investigate whether the vehicle is On / Off Finance. Moreover, our team checked the trade value of the vehicle as well. A final report was prepared based on these checks.
This process involved working on three systems all together i.e., Sherpa, SDT and DVLA/HPI Website. It was critical to work on all the three software simultaneously. The notes to be left in Sherpa were to be done with great care as this information has to be read by the Enforcement officer who decides his next course of Action. Update of Status in SDT and generation of Letters had to be carried out with great concern as these letters go to Both the Claimant and the Defendant.
Being the pilot project there was a lot of Learning Curve. A few Conference Calls were held and the minutes were circulated to the Team members with due approval from the client. All the updates were implemented practically.
Now, All these Updates and process related queries are regularly documented everyday along with their responses. This is because the process flow is defined properly and the Manuals, DTP’s and process flows have been designed.
The Executives are doing 25 + cases per day maintaining the Standard parameters. At any point of time whenever a Process Update is received it is not just implemented but also brainstormed. A separate Document for queries is maintained and sent to the Client on regular basis.
