Groupdata is our group data service. Incomplete or inaccurate group data means you're probably losing renewal commission (see Reconcile) and you certainly can't effectively generate new business from it.

Example:

Assuming:

	Average income per new client case = £250
	Cost of data work = £1.00 per client (number of clients irrelevant)

An increase of 0.4% of new client cases in the first year will 'self fund' the cost of the data work.

	1,000 clients @ £1.00 per head = £1,000 for data work. 4 new cases in the first
	year (0.4%) will generate £1,000.

This is linear, so changing any variable gives perspective:

	@ £250 per new case, if cost of data work = £4.00 per client, 1.6% of new, extra
	cases will make it self funding - 16 new cases in year 1
	@ £500 per new case, cost of data work = £4.00 per client, 0.8% of new, extra
	cases will self fund in year 1 - 8 new cases
