The Requirement

Vsource wanted to address the following requirements:

	A common user interface allowing users to access the various payroll systems provided by different vendors, developed using different tools, database, and architecture
	Allow integration and sharing of data among the different databases for different countries or branches
	A platform for consolidated reporting for all the payroll systems
	A module for performing bulk data uploading and downloading for all the payroll systems
	Seamless integration with the Native Payroll systems, possibly through encapsulation

The Solution

CASPER, a multi-language proxy system, encapsulates & inter-works with multiple, independent Native Payroll applications via a set of predefined Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

It has a common user interface for a set of screens that provide “Cross- Country” functions. It also acts a platform in which “Consolidated” or “Common look and feel” reports can be accessed by pre-defined HR Administrators.

A Bulk Data Upload/Download module that integrates Vsource payroll clients with the different payroll systems.

Administrative User Interfaces for user administration, drop-down list management and others.

Scheduler Configuration User Interface for managing Bulk Data upload/download.
